This instruction manual provides guidelines for safely storing 2S li polymer (LiPo) batteries manufactured by LIPOL BATTERY Co., Ltd. Please follow these recommendations to ensure optimal performance and longevity of your 2S Li Polymer battery.

Storage Voltage

The ideal storage voltage for a 2S Li Polymer battery is 7.4V (3.7V per cell). Maintaining the storage voltage at this level helps to prevent over-discharging or overcharging, both of which can cause damage to the battery.

Storage Environment

Store the li polymer battery in a dry, cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and flammable materials. The recommended storage temperature range is between 10°C (50°F) and 25°C (77°F).

Battery Storage Bag

Use a fire-resistant Li polymer battery storage bag to protect the battery from potential hazards. This will also help contain any fires in the unlikely event of a battery failure.

Charge and Discharge

Before storing li polymer battery for an extended period, it’s essential to ensure that it’s neither fully charged nor fully discharged. Aim for a charge level of approximately 50-60%. Check the li polymer battery voltage periodically and recharge if necessary.

Avoid Physical Damage

Handle the li polymer battery carefully to prevent any punctures, dents, or other physical damage. Damaged batteries should be disposed of properly following local regulations.

Storage Duration

Avoid storing the li polymer battery for prolonged periods without use. If the battery is not used for more than three months, it is recommended to cycle (discharge & recharge) the li polymer battery to maintain its performance.

Quality Considerations

To improve the quality of our lithium batteries, we have implemented the following measures:

  1. Advanced Manufacturing Techniques: We use state-of-the-art manufacturing processes and equipment to ensure consistent quality and performance across all li polymer battery cells.
  2. Rigorous Testing: Our batteries undergo thorough testing, including voltage, capacity, and discharge rate checks, to guarantee their reliability and performance.
  3. Quality Control: Our manufacturing facilities adhere to strict quality control standards to minimize the risk of defects and to ensure customer satisfaction.
  4. High-quality Materials: We use high-quality materials and components to optimize the li polymer battery’s energy density, capacity retention, and overall performance.

By following these storage guidelines and using our high-quality batteries, you can expect a longer lifespan and better performance from your 2S li polymer battery. Always consult the user manual or contact our LiPol support team with any other questions or concerns about the li polymer battery storage and maintenance.
